It’s already been a couple of weeks since the Las Vegas Market, yet I still can’t stop thinking about all the amazing designs! This action-packed weekend left me totally inspired after discovering an endless variety of fabulous new product introductions by some of my favorite partners and vendors.
This year, I had the privilege of visiting the market as a Tastemaker, where I was tasked with giving an inside look into the market, as well as tagging my favorite designs and products during the showroom tours. As soon as I began, I quickly realized narrowing down my favorites was not going to be easy because every designer, and manufacturer, brought their A-game.
However, my decision-making abilities prevailed and I was able to choose the pieces I couldn’t live without. Read on to discover all of my fab finds!
I am a huge fan of playing with metallics in my designs, which is why my first Tastemaker pick went to this fab Gema Cocktail Table by Global Views. The taupe-gray paired with the gold leaf brings instant luxury, as well as an option to push both pieces together for one solid gray cocktail table – ideal for design flexibility and very Classically Current!
Apparently, I had cocktail table fever. For my second Tastemaker selection, I chose this handsome Amsterdam cocktail table by Noir! The white stone table top paired with the dark walnut base gives this piece a structured and masculine edge, perfected by the unique geometric shape.
Lush, h AND pompoms? Yes, please! There was absolutely no way I was leaving this gem by Justina Blakeney of The Jungalow (my biggest blog crush) off my Tastemaker list! Loloi always has the most fashion forward design inspiration and they didn’t disappoint at #LVMKT2017. I can’t wait to find the perfect project to showcase these fab throw pillows.
As soon as I came across this stunning bolster arm gold leaf bench, by Worlds Away, I could immediately envision it at the foot of the bed in a mid-century modern design. I can’t get over the stunning green hue and how perfectly it pairs with the gold trim.
The velvet texture of this bench adds a subtle luxury element that I had to try for myself!
Rene Cazares Furniture
My final Tastemaker selection went to this ever so fabulous exterior sectional by Rene Cazares. My team is always looking for the best in outdoor furniture so I was thrilled to find that not only is this sectional perfect for out-of-doors space, there is an entire line of exterior goods by this design house.
Not to mention, I am absolutely in love with the integrated side tables!
After a whirlwind few days of design-spotting, “tastemaking”, dining out, and maybe just a little, tiny, bit of gambling, I can say the Las Vegas Market exceeded all of my expectations. More importantly, the market inspired me for a new year full of cutting edge interior design! Until my next Design and Furnishings market adventure (hint, hint… it happens every year in April!), follow along on my Pinterest and Instagram accounts for a nearly-continuous stream of design inspiration.
