Can you believe that we are in October?! The team is really excited about the arrival of fall and it finally starting to feel cooler during the day. We’re all definitely looking forward to the cozy weather and being able to wear our favorite fall fashions.
This month the team began work on some new client projects and I had the opportunity to head out to California for a few days for a site visit – so exciting! One of my favorite things about starting a new project is getting to uncover our client’s story and finding unique ways to bring their story to life through their home’s design.
I recently had the opportunity to chat with Voyage Houston about all things interior design. We chatted about my love of interior design, how I started Ohorona24.in.ua, what makes the firm so special, and I revealed what I’ve been reading (and listening to) lately. It was a great conversation and I’m so excited to be able to share this with you! .
Ladies and gentlemen, it is finally here! I‘m heading off to High Point today to begin all of the Market festivities and I am beyond excited to begin touring all of the showrooms tomorrow! It has been such a crazy couple weeks preparing for it, but the fast (and sometimes frantic) pace is part of what I love about interior design.
As promised, I have one more sneak peek to show you before I hit the road for North Carolina. Known for its fabulous transitional and contemporary pieces, has been a go-to of mine for years and, as usual, they are prepared to make a big impression at Market this weekend.
Without further ado, enjoy my final High Point Market sneak peek courtesy of the fab team at Worlds Away!
With every day that passes, my excitement builds because I know it means we’re one step closer to the fall High Point Market. I recently featured a few pieces that my Trend Tour partner, , and today, I’m thrilled to do the same with its brother company, (my other High Point Market Trend Tour partner)!
By blending English informality and a modern lifestyle, Mr. Brown’s pieces highlight innovative furniture and unique accessories, perfect for those looking to add a bit of whimsy and a dash of swanky style to their design.
Read on to see my top three favorites from Mr. Brown’s newest collection!
I am heading to the fall THIS weekend, and I am beyond excited to see what my favorite vendors and designers have in store for the new season! As a member of the Style Spotter , I’m charged with choosing my favorite pieces and designs at the Market (be sure to to see what I discover). As usual, my anticipation got the best of me, and I decided to get a bit of a head start on checking out the fab creations of some of the brilliant designers preparing to roll out new collections at the event.
As we enter into the final countdown to High Point Market, I have partnered with three fab vendors to give you sneak peeks of their new creations all week long!
First up, are the stunning pieces by one of my of my long-time favorites and partner for one of my Market Trend Tours, . The designs and collections always impress, and the team was nice enough to give me a peek at what they plan to reveal at Market.
Inspired by English and European design, it’s as if the pieces in this collection were made for my Classically Current style. Julian Chichester is known for its quality craftsmanship and original design, but the detail and unusual finishes are what set the designs apart from the crowd. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind piece, all items can be custom-made to build a completely bespoke model. From the size to the finish, you can make your piece uniquely you.
Take a look to see what Julian Chichester has in store for this season’s High Point Market and a preview of what we’ll discover during my Trend Tour!
Conceptual design & design development requires the majority of my attention at the beginning of the process, but then we shift focus to the details when the broad strokes are complete! White subtle, hardware can truly bring out the personality of a home and totally transform a space. Check out to see how a bit of gold trim turned my front door into a statement piece. Although small, that new shiny door knocker is one of my favorite pieces from my entire home remodel!
I love a unique hardware piece as much as I love fab chandeliers, so of course,I wanted to share the latest knobs that my team and I have fallen in love with and the amazing designers behind these petite masterpieces!
I don’t know about you but the cooler it is outside, the more difficult it is for me to drag myself out of my comfy bed! We just returned from Aspen where the mountains already have a dusting of snow and it is definitely chilly. Even though we can look forward to a couple of months worth of mild weather in Texas, it’s time to get those bedrooms ready for the cooler seasons. Here’s a shout out to our top 3 coziest bedrooms!
The best thing about this room (aside from EVERYTHING!) is the automated, black out lined, drapery. Just push a button and you have the perfect place to hibernate.
I love a fabulous canopy bed, especially a HUGE one! This one (made for our fave Texans player and his lovely celeb wife) is majorly over scale and super h.
And last, but certainly not least, is our Moroccan inspired bedroom. I love the thought of drawing the drapery closed and that, even though the canopy bed is generous in scale, the room feels light and airy. Perfect for when you want to crawl back in bed for the mid-afternoon nap!
Beautiful year-round, our top 3 bedrooms are even better in the Fall and Winter seasons. Show us your favorite fall bedrooms in the comments below!
Until Next time,
