Fear not, PETA zealots! We are 120% animal friendly in these parts. With that said, we promise you will only discover faux fur items distributed geometrically above.
Faux fur is considered a delicacy in the South, or more specifically, anywhere you can sport shorts upwards 75% of the year. How could it not be? Considering the incessant opportunity you are given year round to clothe yourself again in one of the 24 tank tops you’ve circled through the past months, you must jump in exaggerated joy at the occasion to finally display that Isabela Marant outerwear you took ownership of months ago. Oh, and don’t forget about the scintillating allurement of faux fur accouterments. Two of our favorites include, but are not limited to, Ugg leather & Speaker headphones and Anthropologie’s Ulrica Faux-Fur Scarf. Really, what more do you need than a pair of fuzzy earmuffs that not only adorn your outfit but dispense harmonious sounds simultaneously into your little ears? Nothing.
Luckily, when it comes to furnishing our homes, faux fur rules become impressionable. While we may not display fur throughout our entire home during the sizzling seasons, we find nothing wrong with accompanying your daughter’s computer desk with a faux fur chair. And who can argue that there’s anything more necessary than the accompaniment of a fuzzy blanket near the fireplace? We have an abundant amount of blankets we could insist you invest in, but we’ll leave that for another day. For now, we recommend this Brunello Cucinelli’s Cashmere Bicolor Blanket, and for the aforementioned chair this Polar Bear Wing-back from PB Teen.
Well, now it’s your turn. What about you? Do you like Faux fur year round, for a few months, or not at all? We need to know!
