Adding personality to your bed can be done with more than just decorative pillows. A fabulous headboard can make your bed truly one-of-a-kind. Go bold with graphic prints, vibrant colors or luxe fabrics. It’s very chic and modern! Tufts or pleats on a headboard make a subtle statement and elevate the look of the bedroom.
Do something totally out of the ordinary and cover your headboard in faux Boxwood hedge. It’s very playful and oh so whimsical! (It would look darling in a little girl’s room too!) From unconventional to Boho, to Moroccan, there are so many different and unique headboards that have caught my eye recently. It was so hard to narrow it down to just a few of my favorites to share with you!
Custom headboard crafted by made with wool fabric and magenta fabric peeking from the pleats.
Headboard via – I love the found vibe this piece has. It is carved, whitewashed, and fabulous.
So… this is a faux boxwood hedge playing headboard. Enough said.

Em Henderson is one of my design crushes. I love her bright and airy style and her laid back personality. These two headboards are both so fab, I couldn’t choose just one.

So, is another of my design crushes because he is adorbs and I can’t get enough of his super cute family (have you seen his daughter, Poppy?! Her name is Poppy, so….). This room is just as presh as Nate and the headboard makes a lovely, quiet statement.
Headboards are a fun way to show off your personality and add a custom touch to your bed. And these are all so gorgeous! One thing to note: I rarely use a headboard that is not upholstered. I don’t love a wood or metal headboard unless it is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. They just aren’t comfy! Anyhoo… I hope these unique, one-of-a-kind, upholstered headboards have inspired you as much as they’ve inspired me.
