Kitchens are often the most difficult room in the house to incorporate pops of color into the design. Enter Appliances to save the day!

Big Chill offers brightly colored kitchen appliances as a splashy alternative to the standard black, white or stainless appliances that have become our go-tos. From refrigerators and dish washers to and microwaves, Big Chill’s vibrant, retro, and modern styles are what our classically current dreams are made of.

In a recent visit to the Big Chill website, a gorgeous cabernet and copper stove caught my eye and it was love at first sight. Immediately, the design ideas started flowing and I began thinking off all the ways I would design a fab kitchen around this stove alone. Far too impatient to wait for a real-life opportunity, I instinctively began creating a style board for a fantasy kitchen with this gorgeous appliance at the center.

Here is the result of my most recent interior design daydream!

Stove: Between the beautiful cabernet hue and prominent copper accents, this Big Chill Classic Stove 1900 Series in is fully equipped to take center stage.

Cabinets: I love the idea of pairing the rich cabernet color of the stove with Sherwin Williams cabinets and accessories.

Hardware: Adding some contemporary copper hardware courtesy of is a perfect way to pull the cabernet and blue tones together.

Copper Pendants: These fabulous by Tom Dixon were the first things to come to mind when I saw the copper accents on the stove. It’s as if the two were made for each other!

Countertop: Vetrazzo counters are unique in that each pattern is a one-of-a-kind work of art made from 100% recycled glass. This particular , made of cranberry glass, oyster shells, and white marble, captures both the blue and cabernet color featured in the pallet.

Copper Pot Rack: What’s old is new again! This Bellacor is a fun way to bring back an old kitchen staple.

Lucite and Brass Counter Stools: In a room that features a variety of bold colors, it is nice to lighten up the atmosphere with a little bit of Lucite. The brass details also add a touch of glam to these by Paul Jones.

Fabrics: Perfect for barstools, shades, or banquettes, I love both of these fabulous fabrics! The first fabric is a Stark Fabric, , and it incorporates the warm neutrals, navy and, of course, our fabulous cabernet.

The second is a new indoor/outdoor fabric from Perennials, . This durable and stylish print would be perfect for kitchen use as it is easy to clean.

Backsplash: Bringing in a fun, metallic, ceramic tile like this in Metallic Bronze by Ann Saks would be a fun way to incorporate some dimension.

Mixer: Normally, I am big on putting kitchen accessories away, but this Kitchen Aid Mixer in is just too perfect to hide!

Now… how to make this dream kitchen a reality!?
