As I mentioned last week, I recently had the pleasure of joining a group of fabulous designers from across the country for the Design Bloggers Tour at the spring High Point Market. During an action-packed 48 hours, we toured the showrooms and viewed the newest introductions from the very best of the interior design world.
Read on for all of the details and my favorite finds from day one of the Tour!
Bernhardt Furniture was the first stop. They always kick off Market in the perfect way and this was no exception. Their new introductions were spot on. Just look at this fab ottoman and cocktail table! We saw a ton of natural elements and gold finishes incorporated into designs throughout the Market so these pieces really hit the mark and gave us a preview of what to expect in terms of trends.
We then breezed through Bunny Williams Home, Badgley-Mischka (where we met the men behind the brand!), and Emporium Home. All three lines were standouts and totally different. Of course, I have a special place in my heart for Ashley Childers of Emporium Home. She’s a Southern gal, too, after all! The Apollo Chest from the collection

Nathan Anthony was also a standout showroom with their unique upholstery designs based on architectural icons. I particularly fell in love with the Ghedi sofa.
The ever-accommodating Crypton Fabric hosted the Blogger Tour at the Huntington House showroom, where we saw so many gorgeous pieces upholstered in Crypton’s own performance fabrics. I am upholstering my own ottoman, sofa, and sectional (and other pieces) with Crypton RIGHT NOW to give them a new life with my five-year-old daughters and can’t wait to share the dramatic before-and-after shots! Additionally, I am a sucker for a good-looking swivel chair and Huntington House has more than a few to choose from!
One of my favorite Huntington pieces covered in a fab Crypton fabric!
Next, it was on to Theodore Alexander, where we were given in-person tours by none other than Jamie Drake and Michael Berman. Both have gorgeous lines for TA and are design icons in their own rights. It was a special experience and truly one to remember! While Steve Leung was not there, his furnishings had plenty of presence. Masculine and dramatic, with a dash of mystery, his showroom was moody and beautiful.
I loved every minute of the tour with Michael Berman, and fell head-over-heels for this chaise lounge!
This is one of my absolute favorite pieces from Steve Leung’s dramatic new collection!
As we ran into the late afternoon, we hit the Century Furniture showroom. This is a family-owned business and it shows as we found when visiting with Senior Director of Marketing – and family member – Comer Wear. Like us at Ohorona24.in.ua, Century is celebrating a milestone anniversary: 10 years and 70 years, respectively!
The love and care that goes into the production of their benchmade and heirloom pieces are evident. Pair that with the updated collection by Windsor Smith… be still my heart! We sat down with Windsor to hear about the influences behind the collection. She, herself, is an inspiration. Just look at these amazing pieces from her Icons collection!
To cap off a busy and inspiring day, we visited the Eastern Accents showroom and, after a lovely tour with some stout Sangria, we made our way to the Market after party hosted by Eastern Accents. The event was hosted at Pandora’s Manor, a historic home that is now a boutique hotel. The Manor boasts rooms designed by Barclay Butera, Madcap Cottage, Tobi Fairley, Thom FIlicia, Alexa Hampton, Celerie Kemble; it was incredible and the perfect place to end a day filled with the top brands in interior design!
