The last of fall’s officially wrapped up on Tuesday, and I had an absolutely amazing time returning as a Style Spotter. With every passing day, my team and I left more inspired than the day before!
As a Style Spotter, I had the exciting task of tagging my favorite discoveries and designs that really wowed me, and with the abundance of fab designers and vendors, it was no easy task narrowing down the selection! To help narrow down my choices, I set my pre-Market criteria and decided the designs had to fall into one or more of the following categories: light, bright, bold and/or “contrasty.”
So which discoveries made the cut? Read on to find out!
On my first day at Market, I spotted this shapely beauty from ! I love the unique design on this cocktail table and the contrasting color and material.
The classic, wooden legs showcase a lovely rustic look, paired with a current, sleek surface. Such a great blend of a Classically Current style!
Later that day, I fell head-over-heels for this new intro from . The geometric shape and architectural technique really makes this a striking, eccentric statement piece.
I love how the black metal elevates the bold sculpture. With that type of material, you can use it indoors or out; I can’t wait to use it in future designs!
The team and I recently began obsessing over burled wood last month (), so I was excited to see more of it at High Point! This dining table for is absolute perfection.
The burled wood surface completely contrasts with the scalloped, white base, and the styling and detailing brings it all together into one seamless design.
Currey and Company
I started off my Sunday morning with this gorgeous, blush petite chest by . The light hue is typically considered more of a spring statement, so I love how it’s pushing the envelope and making its way across seasons!
Pairing blush with brass is always a good idea; the brushed brass accents complement the reverse painted glass and makes it so soft and romantic. I just love this duo. See for a past blog of mine that was completely dedicated to blush!
Mr. Brown London
Throughout my journey, I spotted a design for my personal interiors! I always get excited to see designs featuring day beds because I like to pull inspiration for my next bedroom, and I love ’s take on this style!
I also got to unveil some of Mr. Brown’s new High Point Market intros last week; check out the sneak peek !
Antique and Design Center
This bold sunburst caught my eye, and I just had to add my name to it with my Style Spotter tag! The center of this art piece is made of antique mirror, and the rays from selenite- unique complements that really work together!
Soon after spotting this gorgeous art, I made my way over to the “Love It” and “Hate It” panel discussion where sunbursts were a topic of discussion- talk about timely! And the answer is yes, I love my sunbursts!
The beginning of the week rolled around, and I definitely did not have a case of the Mondays once I spotted this striking showroom. Everything fits together like a puzzle piece-literally!
The sculptural cocktail tables are inspired. You definitely can’t have one without the other!
Baker’s Jean-Louis Denoit Sofa
As I mentioned, I was so excited to see more blush at this fall Market, and I LOVED how tied it into its showroom; the entire design was absolutely flawless.
Baker Furniture always knows how to capture my heart, and this piece left me speechless!
Hickory Chair by Susan Hable
The last piece that caught my eye was this Hickory Chair side table by ; it was love at first sight! Not only is the sculptural design breathtaking, but it has a hand-painted marble finish. I might just have to purchase it for my personal interiors!
That’s what I call another fabulous trip to High Point in the books! I had a blast with this inspiring and amazing group of designers, and I loved seeing all of the new intros at fall’s High Point Market. I can’t wait to start blending these lovely finds into my Classically Current designs coming soon.
