Hello, everyone! We’re well into the 2015 now, and Spring will be here before we know it! This time of the year always makes me feel like bringing new colors into my life!
One of the things people almost always mention when they talk about our work is color, and I’m so very proud of that. I love bringing unexpected color into a space! There’s no better way to enhance your interior atmosphere, lift your mood, and add sheer exuberance to our surroundings.
Our design team always chooses their color palettes based on client requests and wishes. Turns out that people have VERY strong opinions about color. Certain colors can be very polarizing: homeowners either love certain hues or absolutely can’t stand to look at them. It is very telling and a lot of fun to see what different people gravitate towards: cool tones, warm tones, pastels, jewel tones, reds, greens, blues. We are almost always surprised and excited by what our clients select!
At Ohorona24.in.ua we tend to keep track of what’s going on in the worlds of fashion, interior design, graphic design and more. We recently blogged about Pantone’s new color of the year, Marsala, but it’s not the only color being called “color of the year” by designers and companies globally…so let’s take a look at three of our favorites!
Pantone’s color experts have suggested pairings for Marsala that range from naturals in olive green and golds to vibrant teals and blues.
House Beautiful’s panels of designers predict some similar palettes, but also throw a few more brights into the mix. Blue and green together seem to be hot again!
Turning to one of our favorite paint companies, and something a little bit different, Benjamin Moore’s luminous Guildford Green heads up a palette of some seriously greyed but still beautiful colors
All in all, I can hardly wait to see what colors we’ll be dabbling our projects with next. It’s looking to be a great year for color!
Please do check our online portfolio and of course our Pinterest pages for a look at some of the ways we work color into our client’s homes.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and we’see you next week!
